Rise

The fear. The pain that the fear brings with it... But we should ever let the pain win, even if the fear will stay. The pain demolishes us if we let it grow and forgot there's still hope somewhere, there's a light that will give us a new chance, a new life... Never give up. We all face things that are hard for us to get over with. Never give up for the sake of all who loves you, all who cares about you, and most important, never give up for the sake of yourself. OR if you do, the pain did win...

This pic was meant to be a triumph for myself getting over my misery and finding myself, finding a way to think that one can manage to get over everything with a right attitude. But finishing this pic, my heart is full of fear for my friends. I've heard too many unstraight threaths of death. I'm afraid and confused. Now I want to give this pic for all of those facing hard times. I want to remind that there's always even a tiny bit of hope for everyone, if you just won't give up. There's always a chance to start a new life. To be reborn.

The character here is Arcaillax with her new look. She just doesn't have the locket hanging on her neck, because this was meant to be her rebirth and how could that locket then be with her? And when drawing the lineart I thought I make the wings look simple so I won't start doing so much shadings to the wings but... Maybe it's the fact that I wanted to finish this pic so it looks a bit better, a bit neatened because with it I wanted to deliver that message above. Though I barely believe even myself it would help anyone...
