King of the Desert

Hoookay, I have no idea how long this work did take... I guess it was almost the whole February I worked with this pic, a bit by bit. I had drawn the sketch during January, though.

So, around Christmas I promised to my dear friend Milla that I would draw a picture of one of her creations, Yeilons (Finnish word is 'Jeiloni'). I did get descriptions and some sketches of these creatures, and tried my best to follow those instructions. Yeilons should have muzzle resembling a bit the one of a reptile, as like as reptilish feet and hind legs. The front body should be muscular, and the hind of the body should be more sleek. Top of their head, back and tail are feathery, and so are their cheecks. So they resemble a lion with wings, feathers and some reptilish features :> I don't think I managed to make much of that reptileness to these guys, but oh well...
Personally I hate otherwise that background, but I like those clouds and the Yeilons there... Gotta practise to paint sand.

If I made many mistakes while writing that text, I blame this darn flu I have. I haven't slept too much for four days, I'm having a headache and I can barely breath. God I love seasonal flus -_____- And I need some hot tea.
